I have attended my first “un-conference”.

LaidOffCamp was a grass-roots get-together of those of us who have lost our jobs. The get-together, with sessions organized on the spot, featured speakers and presenters on everything from starting your own business to new green business, from  how to tweet your resume(eyes rolling here), to how to tweak your recipes. In short, it was the best $10 I’ve spent since I lost my job.
